About me:
I love makeup. I love people. So naturally I love what I do! I've been knee deep in the makeup business since 1997 and having a blast every step of the way. I believe when you feel your best on the outside it translates to confidence on the inside. I adore helping others feel beautiful and ready to face the most important days in their life. It would be a pleasure to be a part of your day and to help you look your best.

What sets you apart as a makeup artist?
I adore working with people during their most important moments. These days can often be stressful, but I have a natural ability to calm and spread joy during the preparation process to keep these moments fun and memorable in the best way. I'm also a good listener and make it a priority to interpret or discover ones individual style to translate it to their look in the best way.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First we will communicate via email, phone or text to answer any questions. Then we can set up a time for an initial consultation to discuss needs & do a trial. If interested we will complete a contract for day of services and save the date just for you!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm always going to workshops and trainings to continue my education and perfect my craft. School is never out for the pro!
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with all different ages, ethnicities & styles. I do mostly event makeup, but also have experience with makeup for print work as well as on screen. If you're curious what I can do, just ask! And if you're uncertain, we can always do a trial to be sure you get exactly what you want.

Erika's Career:
Motivated, Kind, Dedicated and Professional Makeup Artist, Erika Thompson began her career at the young age of 18. Her passion and aptitude for beauty have led her to chase her dreams for over 20 years. Erika has worked with individuals wanting to learn more about skin care and makeup application in the everyday world, but also in the professional arena. She has done makeup for professional photo shoots & videography, live shows and pageants, but her niche is truly special occasion makeup; bridal, prom, other special events. She's worked with literally hundreds of bridal parties during the biggest days of their lives. Erika has found it a great honor to be entrusted to assist so many wonderful people during the most precious moments.
